As you know, Priyanka Chopra has been working really hard to get into her reel life avatar of Indian boxer, Mary Kom (and it’s already been paying off, since she’s been receiving great comments). The actress has been putting in the hours and didn’t even delay the shoot after the sad demise of her father, Dr Ashok Chopra, with whom she shared a special bond.
However, she’s put in work above and beyond just her role in the film – in fact, the extent of her involvement is so much that she has practically ghost directed some of the scenes! PC has been attempting to experiment with new styles and shots for Mary Kom, and the director has had to patiently listen, even though he hasn’t been exactly happy about the whole situation. Guess, people usually do things her way “in her city!”
