Take a good look at this photo. It might be the last few times Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z actually make an official appearance together on a red carpet. News has come in that they’re about to call it quits and the day they’re going to announce anything will be once their ‘On The Run’ tour ends. That’s not too far away. Apparently they have been on a roller-coaster ride of a relationship and its been happening since before baby Blue Ivy was born. The news started making headlines when leaked footage of Beyoncé’s sister Solange Knowles physically assaulted Jay-Z in an elevator after the MET gala.
Soon after, Queen Bey posted a series of photos on her Instagram with her sister, thereby signifying all was well between the two. Which could only mean that music’s golden couple were not on great terms anymore. Soon after, reports came up saying that Jay-Z was apparently cheating on Bey with designer Rachel Roy, who happens to be besties with Kim Kardashian. If this is actually true, we now know why they didn’t attend the Kimye wedding.
Apart from all these rumours making the rounds, Beyoncé also altered a song of hers while singing it live on tour. The original lyric went like this,
“I know she was attractive but I was here first
Been ridin’ with you for six years why did I deserve
To be treated this way by you, you.”
But she changed the ‘six years’ to ‘twelve years’ which is how long Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been in a relationship. Again, we don’t know what this is supposed to mean for the couple and it also seems that they have been attending a lot of therapy sessions to fix the problems between them. In an attempt to subdue the rumours, Beyoncé also posted a cute family photo on her Instagram just yesterday.
Well now we have to listen to the song too!
We hope they sort everything out, especially for little Blue Ivy’s sake.
