After a bangin’ response to the teaser trailer of his next, Bang Bang, Hrithik fans, here’s something more for you to be excited about! The actor has been signed on for Kabir Khan’s next, which is a passionate love story set against a historical and political backdrop. The film, still in its nascent stage, is scheduled to go on floors in July 2015 and is Kabir’s second venture with producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
Not much is known about Hrithik’s character in the film. The Dhoom actor is currently enjoying the positive response to the teaser of Bang Bang. We also told you about how the trailer has shattered records! He will soon begin work on his next with Ashutosh Gowariker titled Mohenjo-daro, a period drama.
While the leading lady is yet to be confirmed, rumours mills are abuzz with talks that Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez are the top contenders for the film. Both the actresses are going through a good phase in their career with Jacqueline’s Kick releasing today and Deepika’s Finding Fanny on 12 September. It will be interesting to see which leggy lass bags this film.
Kabir Khan, on the other hand, is currently busy shooting for his Saif Ali Khan – Katrina Kaif starrer, Phantom, in Vancouver, and will hit theatres on April 3rd. The director also recently announced his next film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which will star Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan in the lead roles. The film, scheduled to release on Eid next year, will go on floors this November. Looks like this director has got his hands full!
