Vivek Oberoi is at it again! After charming us with his impeccable comic timing in his previous films, the actor is the latest addition to the cast of YRF’s upcoming entertainer, Bank Chor. The film has been in the news for its casting when comedian Kapil Sharma, who was to play the lead, walked out of the film, with Riteish Deshmukh replacing him! It was then confimed that the ex MTV VJ, Rhea Chakraborty will star opposite Riteish.

Vivek, who has earlier worked with Riteish in Masti and Grand Masti, will be seen playing the second lead as a CBI officer who wreaks havoc in the lives of the robbers. Vivek expressed his happiness in a media statement, saying “I’m really happy to be back in the Yash Raj family again, truly glad Adi thought of me for this role. Working with my buddy Riteish is always a pleasure, hope we bring our crazy chemistry to this one too! Here’s hoping our entire team of Bank Chor steals a million hearts!

Vivek brings his A-Game to whatever he does, and with this character that’s signature rockstar badass Vivek, he’s going to set the screen on fire. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the party!

Vivek will be seen working with the banner after a gap of 12 years! His last film with them was the super hit, Saathiya, directed by Shaad Ali. The actor has had a successful run at the box office with his last two films – Grand Masti and Krrish 3 raking in all the moolah!

Deshmukh too, on the other hand, has had two back-to-back hits – Ek Villain and his Marathi film Lai Bhaari. He’s currently shooting in Poland for his upcoming film, Bangistan, which is produced by Excel Entertainment. Looks like this actor has got a lot on his plate!

Every time these two actors have come together on screen, they’ve struck gold! Given the chemistry they share, we hope they manage to do the same this time too with Bank Chor. 🙂 The film will go on floors immediately is looking at an early 2015 release.
