After walking the ramp with two dogs to promote his upcoming film Entertainment, Akshay Kumar will perform for his team in London. Wondering what I’m talking about? The Khiladi will perform live for the 500th time since 1991 to promote the International Kabaddi League in which he is a part owner of a team.

An insider told us, “Akshay is going to perform on the inaugural day of the International Kabaddi League which is going to start in London. Akshay is going to have a full fledged performance.” The actor will be seen performing to his popular songs and will also be seen doing some interesting mimicry on stage, which he is personally looking into. That Akshay loves sports is nothing new. He isn’t called the Khiladi for no reason after all! But the actor thinks that kabaddi is not very popuar in India anymore, which is why he wants to do what ever he can to promote the sport.

Akki couldn’t be reached when we tried to contact him but has previously told IANS, “The league is a step to promote the Indian sport and bring it closer to the fans of the sport spread across the world.”

Akshay, who is one of the most popular celebrities on twitter, first performed live in 1991 in Delhi. This being his 500th live performance is obviously very special and will take place at the O2 Arena in London UK on the 9th of August. I can’t wait to watch my favourite actor in my city! What about you?
