Okay okay, we know the book isn’t being made into a movie just yet! But considering the fact that every book written by this author has found its way onto the silver screen, with all of them doing so well, we couldn’t help but speculate on the casting for if and when this book gets adapted! So here’s our list of Bollywood couples we’d like to see in Chetan Bhagat’s Half Girlfriend.
#1 RANVEER SINGH – DEEPIKA PADUKONE
Who wouldn’t like to see these gorgeous looking actors together? Their on-screen and off-screen romance has been much talked about with news of the duo secretly meeting at various destinations popping up every fortnight! Remember their sizzling chemistry in Ram Leela that almost gave us goosebumps? Mmm.. Enough said!
#2 Arjun kapoor – Alia Bhatt
We’ve been in love with this couple after watching them in 2 States. They played their characters so effortlessly and looked so believable! Of course, with all the rumours doing the rounds of them dating and their super steamy chemistry which we’ve all seen, it would be unfortunate if they weren’t cast together again! Yeh dil manage more!
#3 Priyanka chopra – Shahid Kapoor
Do you remember their interview on Koffee with Karan a couple of years ago? Aaah! The chemistry the two shared. I’m sure the people on sets could feel the sparks between the two estranged lovers. Since we love to see ex-couples on screen (Read: Ranbir and Deepika), what better than bringing these two talented actors together yet again?
#4 Akshay Kumar – Katrina Kaif
Because it has been too damn long since the two appeared together on screen. They were undoubtedly one of the best on-screen couples! You can be sure to be entertained thoroughly when the two come together! *fingers crossed*
#5 Ranveer Singh – Anushka Sharma
Ex-flames and all you know? Plus, we totally loved them as Bittoo and Shruti in Band, Baajaa, Baarat! They stole our hearts and will do the same again if they’re cast together.
#6 Varun dhawan – parineeti chopra
We haven’t officially seen them together on the big screen but how can we forget their super cute WeChat ads? These two actors look so good together and we’re hoping someone casts them pronto!
#7 DHANUSH – SONAM KAPOOR
From the promotional video of CB’s book, it’s clear that the boy loves the girl and girl’s not really into him. Reminds you of Raanjhana, doesn’t it? I feel like these two actors would fit the bill perfectly, given how good they were in Raanjhana. Anybody agree?
