How often does this happen to you? You put on your favourite lipstick and head out only to keep reapplying it throughout the day! Does your lipstick bleed onto your face sometimes or does it leave those coloured stains on coffee mugs? You’re not alone here, ladies! It happens to so many of us. Here are a few tips and tricks you need to know of to keep your lipstick lasting longer, avoiding those touch-ups every hour! Read on! 🙂

#TIP 1

Wear a lip liner before applying lipstick. Don’t just outline the lips but fill it in! This helps the colour stay on much longer. If you don’t have a lip liner that matches the colour of your lipstick, you could also use a nude lip pencil.

#TIP 2

Get a lipstick that is of matte texture. This is a dry texture and makes your lipstick last a lot longer than most other textures. Be sure to apply some lip balm before using a matte lipstick.

#TIP 3

This is the trick every woman must know of! All you need is some loose powder, a make-up brush and a piece of tissue paper. So, you take one layer of the tissue paper and lay it on your lips. Now take the loose powder onto the make-up brush and pat the powder onto your lips. This helps is picking up the oil and excess colour that the lipstick leaves, making your lipstick matte.
