I am sure you’ve seen our Bollywood youngsters Ranbir Kapoor and Saqib Saleem together on TV as they are both part of a popular commercial series. And I must tell you that the two boys not only have a great camaraderie on screen but also share a warm equation off screen. I know it’s not surprising at all as both the guys are known to be quite friendly and charming. So it’s only natural that they had hit it off really well with each other from the word go.
In fact, Saqib has also maintained that he looks up to Ranbir for his enviable filmography. When I quiz him about the same, the Yash Raj find says, “I really like Ranbir Kapoor as an actor. He’s a natural on screen. His choice of scripts has been phenomenal. He’s catering to everybody.”
So I had to ask Saqib if he sees Ranbir as a competition and he promptly denies, “Rather than taking someone as competition, I take inspiration from them. What I can do, nobody else can and what that person can do, perhaps I can’t. No one is eating anyone’s space and there’s scope for all.” Now, that’s a smart answer!
