Here’s What Masaba’s 60’s Style Saris At Lakmé Fashion Week Looked Like

As soon as Masaba‘s show began, we knew, possibly because of the sound track, that the collection was going to bring about a Masaba-esque take on clothes from the 1960’s – and we were absolutely right. Titled ‘Wanderess’, her designs were inspired by free-thinking Goan women and featured bold prints (duh!), bursts of colours and the use of fabrics like satin, jersey and crepe. While the 60’s vibe might have been a tad bit overwhelming and quite realistic, what with the bell sleeves, bouffants and bell-bottoms, the saris she showcased seemed revamped and quite different from what you might have seen before.
