Some stars are of the opinion that it’s more difficult promoting a movie than it is actually making it – and you can see why! With so many different things you can do these days – interviews, reality TV show appearances, radio shows, the list is endless – promoting a film is a full-time job in and of itself, with practically no time off. Case-in-point: while most of us had a holiday on Friday to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan spent their day on a promotional round for Khoobsurat instead. We followed them around to catch a glimpse of what that’s like, and got the whole low-down for you!
11:00am: Sonam leaves her house – looking fantastic in Payal Singhal, we have to add – to begin the radio rounds.
First stop: Fever 104 FM, where she’s joined by Fawad Khan:
They do their interviews, Fawad signs some autographs, and then they’re off.
12:30pm: Sonam and Fawad head for OYE FM, where they continue with their on-air promotions. But before leaving, Sonam stops to sign the OYE FM wall:
1:30pm: Sonam and Fawad leave OYE FM to head to Yash Raj, where they’re shooting for an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
There’s an outfit change involved, of course:
7:30pm: Sonam and Fawad wrap up shooting for KBC, and call it a day!
