Remember when rumours were rife that Alia Bhatt would star in mommy Soni Razdan‘s next directorial venture titled Love Affair? Alia even went on say how she’s keen to work with her mother but it seems like this actress is going to have to await her turn, because for now, Razdan has zeroed in on Kalki Koechlin to play the lead opposite Gulshan Devaiah. She will play the role of a British woman who is the wife of a naval officer.
If you’re wondering what the movie is about, the title is self explanatory. Reports suggest that the film is largely based on the Nanavati murder case of 1959 with the characters bearing resemblance to the real life story. We hear that Razdan was on the look out for an actress who could play a British woman with ease and thought that Kalki fit the bill perfectly. Given her looks, we couldn’t agree more!
There have been rumours that the suave Arjun Rampal too will be part of the film and will play the role of businessman Prem Ahuja. While there has been no confirmation yet, we’re looking forward to watch Arjun and Kalki in the same frame. Will be quite something, don’t you think? We wonder how Alia feels about this though.
