Every year, one of India’s finest fashion magazine, Vogue, holds an evening of pure fashion fun, Fashion’s Night Out – and not without a great cause to support it.  An evening that started out at DLF Emporio in Delhi, for the past two years has given the fashionable people of Mumbai to come an experience it at The Palladium Mall in Lower Parel.

Now we already told you about the 5 things to expect at Fashion’s Night Out, after attending the event, here are 5 things I enjoyed most.

1. The Pop Up Store

What’s great about this store is that all the products on sale come from some of the biggest names in fashion and are sold at the fraction of the original price. What’s even better is, all the proceeds go straight to charity.

2. Le 15’s Ryan Gosling Cupcakes

Who cares if you can’t have him in person? Ryan Gosling on a cupcake is the next best thing, don’t you think so!?

3. Kalki Koechlin’s Empowerment Monolgue

While Kalki Koechlin’s monologue gave us a whole lot of laughs (it was held at the Canvas Laugh Club), it had a very strong message as well. She spoke about women being free, not caring about stick to the norm and just letting it all hang loose. If she performs again, this is something everyone should watch. I had goosebumps throughout.

4. Deepika Padukone Busts A Move

While a whole lot of celebrities made it to the event, Deepika Padukone bust a few moves while being photographed and we loved looking at her just goofing off and having some fun.

5. Diesel’s Live Mannequins

While all the stores had something or the other to offer, from discounts to champagne and hors d’oeuvres, Diesel decided to make their mannequins come alive. They had models stand in the display and strike a pose every now and then. The photographers went absolutely crazy!

Every year, the event just gets bigger and better, I just can’t wait till it comes around yet again!
