1. She could be India’s answer to Taylor Swift! Box You Up is so catchy, you are going to be singing “Oh oh oh oh oh… ” as you take that train ride to work for a while after you hear this. The 21-year old Bombay girl who lives and writes in Los Angeles describes her sound as “warm and cozy pop“.
2. The romantic in you is going to love the lyrics. She wrote it about a boy she once liked, and all she wanted to do was get rid of those feelings. Yes, I know, we have all been there, right? Also, at the time she was moving homes in L.A. and was surrounded by boxes and she just put two and two together. We love when she sings “I am gonne box you up, make sure they remember, if undelivered, don’t return to sender”. Word.
3. The animated video with lyrics is adorable. The “box” goes on a journey off the world, past the Taj Mahal and the pyramids until it finds who it was meant to be with.
