Not only is she playing a fighter in her most recent release, Mary Kom, but Priyanka Chopra has also decided to pick a bunch of fights on Twitter! She’s decided to hold “boxing matches” on the social networking site, where she will be announcing two hashtags a day, and whichever hashtag receives the most number of tweets and retweets, will be considered the winner! Today she kicked it off with #WomenCanDrive and #WomenCannotDrive, but there are two more fights happening.
On the 12th and 13th, PC will be hosting two other fights, both of which will begin sharp at 11am and continue for one hour until 12pm. PC will be revealing the topics (hashtags) on both days, and is supposed to engage Twitter users around the world to discuss gender stereotypes. Each tweet using the hashtag will carry 10 points and a re-tweet, 5 points.
Not only that, but ten participants will be picked at the end of day 3 and they will receive some awesome prizes. There’s a smart phone, movie posters and movie tickets up for grabs – so if you want to get your hands on them and participate in discussions surrounding gender stereotypes, you know what you have to do at 11am for the next two days!
