Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt have famously been the best of friends over many decades now. The duo has often been seen taking each other’s case, even in public. Also, when Sanjay came on board as a co-host along with Salman in Bigg Boss 5, the camaraderie between the two was there for everyone to see. In the light of such a strong friendship, we know that a comment made by Salman recently was all in good humour but we can’t help but think that it was bordering on insensitive. Read on and help us decide.
At the launch of Bigg Boss 8, Salman was asked about who he would like to see in the house. A fair enough question since all of us have our own Bigg Boss wishlist charted out. As an answer to this question, Salman was quick to say, “Sanjay Dutt!”
His reason for choosing his buddy Sanju baba for the show, Salman said, was that he is the most interesting person Salman knows. Well, as you know, Dutt is serving time in jail currently as he was charged with illegal arms possession in the 1993 Bombay Blasts.
And if that wasn’t enough, he added saying “Unko wahan se nikaal ke yahan pe daalein toh that’ll be the best thing. But I can guarantee that he would say that please put me back in jail! The Bigg Boss house is a really difficult house to be in!”
Is Salman trying to say that Sanjay Dutt would prefer being in jail than being in the Bigg Boss house? Do you think it was a slightly insensitive comment to make or do you think it was harmless comment made by one friend about the other?
