Day 12 has wrapped up in the Bigg Boss 8 house and it ended with its fair share of drama. Here’s a look at the highlights from last night’s episode.
Is Puneet A “Double Dholki”?
Sonali Raut is back in the house like we already told you. Now her task was called ‘Xpose’ wherein she was to rank all housemates on her perception of them based on the time she watched them on TV from outside the house. She called Puneet Issar a “double dholki” as he, according to her, always plays safe and fears being the bad guy. Gives you something to think about Puneet ji, now doesn’t it?
Her task earned her the name Black Mamba, like we exclusively told you yesterday.
Guatam Thinks He Is… Wait For It…”Dr. Downey Jr!”
So the Gautam Gulati-Sonali Raut “love” story is still on; nauseatingly so. But that’s not so much the highlight. The highlight is when Gautam started asking Sonali if he looks like Rober Downey Jr! Of course, he didn’t know his name so he said “Wo jo hai na doctor something junior… Arey main Dr Jr.” We wish we were making this up!
Sukirti Doesn’t Agree With Gautam!
Well, do you blame her!? So when Gautam went on to claim his similarity in looks with “Dr Jr,” Sukirti Kandpal smirked. This led Gautam to call her fake and that gave way to some ugly exchange of words. Trust the Bigg Boss house to make a mountain out of a molehill – before we knew it, everyone ganged up against Gautam and told him that his behaviour towards women isn’t acceptable. Obviously, his Karishma Tanna episode was used as a reference point. Get over it already, guys!
Pritam Sides With Us
Pritam is the only one who seems to think that the Gautam episode has been stretched way too much unnecessarily and we agree! Like he said, a person makes a mistake, apologizes, Bigg Boss punishes him and that should be that. There really isn’t any point cornering one person like this. Kudos, Pritam!
Of course, since Gautam “linein nahi chhodta apni,” he teared up and started screaming at Pritam and told him that he is in the wrong and he doesn’t want to make matters worse. Yawn!
Deepshikha Cries… Again!
Now no episode is complete without Deepshikha Nagpal crying about how she feels disrespected by someone and how she is also “human.” Well, Salman Khan will be happy (insert a Being Human joke here). This time, Pritam has made her cry. Well, boo hoo.
Arya’s Big Faux Pas
Arya Babbar was pegged as the next Armaan Kohli when the season started but surprisingly, Arya has not managed to fill in the void just yet. However, last night in the fight, Arya made a big faux pas. He said that Gautam’s behaviour towards women was unacceptable because he sings one song for one girl (Diandra Soares) one week, and the same song for another girl (Sonali) the next. It’s wrong and even Sonali should understand that. So basically, Arya just slut shamed Sonali on “national TV” (Is Karishma listening?). This is exactly what we need in a country like ours where alarming conditions of women is a glaring reality.
We have found new respect for Minissha Lamba as she strongly opposed this and made a valid point saying that Arya took a stand for one girl by insulting another. This should sufficiently crumble Arya’s bahu dreams with Minissha.
