I told you earlier that I had a chat with designer Raghavendra Rathore and we spoke about how to get Fawad Khan‘s look and even about Saif Ali Khan and his wedding outfit and a whole lot more. Now once that was done, I went to Saif Ali Khan himself and asked him a bunch of silly questions I needed answered. Now the fashion addict that I am, all these questions had to do with shopping and things related to it and sometimes, that can be so much fun – don’t deny it!

Not to forget, the Nawab is quite the stylish one, so all the guys reading this, you might just find it a bit helpful.

So I asked and Saif answered…

Team MissMalini (Team MM): Does your wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan have a say in what you wear?

Saif Ali Khan (SAK): Yes she does try to tell me what to wear sometimes, but I don’t really listen.

Team MM: How many pairs of shoes do you own?

SAK: I’m embarrassed to say, about 60 or so.

Team MM: How do you feel about wearing the colour pink?

SAK: I’d definitely wear a pink shirt and blue jeans! Pink trousers even!

Got it, the man likes his pink – as do we!

Team MM: What was the last thing you bought?

SAK: A painting…

Team MM: No no, what was the last clothing item you bought?

SAK: Oh! A suit from Gieves & Hawkes in London.

Team MM: When you go out shopping, is there one thing you cannot resist buying?

SAK: Socks! I love buying socks. But I’m going through this phase, I’m trying not to shop these days. I think we should love people, not things.

Deep Saif, so deep!

Team MM: What was the last app you downloaded?

SAK: The Free Dictionary.

And here I was hoping it would be Instagram or something…

Team MM: Tell us about the wedding outfit designed by Raghavendra Rathore.

SAK: I got the idea from a picture of my father in his wedding outfit, it was great but it was also a very loud gold. I wanted something white but they said it would be too dull for the groom. Unfortunately I didn’t give it too much thought because had I done that, I would have had a very ornate safa made of perhaps blue silk with a red border. Something very regal looking. I wish we hadn’t forgotten about it because someone just came and tied it really badly and it was quite the disaster!

So Sex & The City, we love it!

I also asked him to tell me what he loved about our MissMalini.com, here’s what he said…

Umm..?
