Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week S/S 15 kicked off yesterday and ended with master couturier Tarun Tahiliani showcasing his collection at the DLF Emporio Mall. At his show, it wasn’t just the whole act but the designer’s use of prints on fabrics that came together perfectly with his signature drapes and cuts inspired by The Singh Twins’ series of vibrant, detailed paintings that attracted us to his presentation.
From Alpana & Neeraj’s Japanese dolls in flowing capes and Atsu Sekhose’s (ATSU) awe-inspiring bows taking over the ramp to Aneeth Arora’s (Péro) perfect combination of floral and sporty chic, WIFW started off on a very visually appealing note. Models wore bouquets of flowers atop their heads at Péro and ikat prints with sheer fabrics went sporty glam at Hemant & Nandita and Pallavi Mohan.
Here are some of the looks we loved from day 1 at WIFW.
