Maybe because Bollywood doesn’t make enough rom-coms or the fact that the book it’s based on was a huge success, the expectations were always high and the movie definitely lived up to it! What was it? Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor’s chemistry? Amrita Singh’s amazing performance or the songs that are still on top of the charts? I personally think it was the strong characters Chetan Bhagat wrote in the book which were portrayed so well on screen! Especially the character of Ananya Swaminathan, played fabulously by Alia Bhatt. Everybody loves Ananya because everybody wants to be like her… secretly!
