Day 2 at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week kept us drooling over the sexiest summer looks for 2015. Gauri & Nainika showed us their brilliance in clean, tailored, form through gorgeous silhouettes. And sharing the runway with them, was our favourite magic lady, Malini Ramani. Ramani was appreciated for staying true to her free spirited vibe in the show. Sexy cut-outs, dazzling surfaces and a strong dose of femme fatale, that was Malini Ramani’s SS’15 show at #WIFW. Here are our top picks!
Gauri & Nainika
Gauri & Nainika started their show with an audio-visual clip addressing the issue of global warming. The beautiful blue skies and greenery of our planet was juxtaposed with the chaos of pollution and industrial take-over in form of digital prints on the garments. The girls stayed close to what they do best, tailoring perfection to offer womenswear in stunning silhouettes. Though the theme was and is of a serious nature, the collection did have its share of summer-sexiness with the low cuts on the back and form-fitted sensuality. The colours in the collection were blue, white, yellow and a mix of colours in prints.

Malini Ramani
This time around, Malini Ramani gave us her version of a strong, feminine warrior and we embraced her vision with open arms. Malini’s shows are always fun and full of cosmic love! She does her own AVs, by which we mean, she writes, records and is present in them. There were quite a few looks that we went gaga over in the show, but we managed to streamline a few winning outfits from the collection that we think are absolute must-haves. We saw looks with dangerously sexy cut-outs, mirror-work and glittering textures with a hint of sheer, here and there. In summer comfy soft jersey fabrics, Malini Ramani’s SS15 has everything that a fierce fashionista needs to take her look from day to night.
