Ranveer Singh has undoubtedly got one of the best bodies in B-Town. I mean, did you watch him when he took off his shirt in Ram Leela? It had so many women across the globe drooling! But the time has come for him to let go of his much loved six packs for Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s upcoming Bajirao Mastani, where he plays a Marathi warrior.
Since the film is set in the eighteenth century where there were no six packs and gym built bodies, SLB has asked Ranveer to physically deconstruct his body to make his character more believable. He doesn’t want a flabby looking Bajirao either, but a fit one. And if we know anything about SLB, he goes to great lengths to get every nuance of his film just about perfect.
If you thought that was all he was losing, hold on! Ranveer will also lose his hair for the upcoming film. In a recent interview, he mentioned how scared he was to sport the look but went ahead with it because he believed in SLB’s vision. Given how much effort Ranveer puts into each of his roles, it’s not surprising that he readily agreed to do this. Also, have you noticed how his risks almost always pay off? We hope this one does too, because we’re waiting with bated breath to see this new Ranveer Singh on screen. It will also be interesting to see if the Ram Leela team of Sanjay, Ranveer, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra can work their magic this time too. What do you guys think?
