Do have a strong desire to travel the world? You know what they say,
“once you’ve got wanderlust in your blood, you’ve got it for life.”
Taking a trip around the world would make for quite an escapade and consider yourself lucky if you actually happen to do so. The pictures you are about to set your eyes on have been documented not only to inspire you, but to impel you to go out and discover the world. To that end, here is a selection of moments from around the world, as seen through the lens of Rohan Shrestha.
Spotted this beautiful scene while walking the streets of Amsterdam.
I was hanging around Jama Masjid, it was 6:00am and I was chilling waiting for a good shot. Suddenly an old man walks passed and disrupts the feeding birds. This was the end result.
Central Park in late autumn, I clearly wasn’t prepared for the winter and my hands were shivering while taking the picture, turns out its better out of focus :)
The windows of the Catedral de Santa María de la Sede, or the Cathedral Seville. I almost thought I saw a face while taking this picture, If zoomed out and not focused on too hard, you might see it too.
Amsterdam! Every single time I go to this city, I capture the same picture over and over again, only to see how I have developed as a photographer. I have been capturing this image with different cameras for over 10 years now.
Coorg, Karnataka India. The scene reminds me a lot of The Jungle book, very nostalgic.
Ever since I was a kid, barrels have reminded me of Pirates. Every time I see them, I still think of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island.
How many bells would you ring on this door? Sevilla, 2012.
The old lady sweeping in the corner makes for a perfect shot. Hard work and dedication. Sweeping the Red Fort, Delhi.
Did these pictures make you want to pack your bags and wanderlust?
