It’s time to upgrade your makeup a notch because it’s Diwali and… do we really need another reason? Makeup maven, Elton J Fernandez gives MissMalini the Gossip Girl makeover and we can’t wait to try it out on ourselves. 1. The Kajal
Line your lower lash-line with Maybelline’s Colossal Kajal. At the end, bring it upwards, connecting it with your upper lash line.
2. Smudge Your Kajal
Use your fingers to dab the kajal on your lower lash-line to give a subtle smudged effect.
3. This One’s An Eye Opener
Use Maybelline’s Diamond Glow Palette in Lilac Mauve and the brush provided. Use the thinnest edge of the brush to pick up a little of the lightest pink-ish shade. Apply it on the inner corner of your eyes to give your eyes that bright, wide-eyed effect.
4. Falsies!
Apply a pair of false eyelashes for added drama. Don’t worry, applying these gets easier with practice and once you’ve got it right, do go over with mascara and you’ll look like a doll!
5. The Lips
Use Maybelline’s Glam 4 Lip Polish to complete the look. It’s a high-shine, nude shade, that will give you a gorgeous pout.
6. That Gorgeous Hair!
It’s not as hard as it looks. Separate your hair into multiple strands and lightly wave them out with a large curling iron. Once you’ve completed this, all you’ve got to do is use a sea salt spray to tousle the hair up and wear it slightly messy.
