Last night’s Bigg Boss 8 episode can be broadly divided into two parts: Gautam Gulati fighting and Puneet Issar crying. Here’s a lowdown of what happened…
Gautam was sitting around and talking to Praneet Bhatt and he told Bhatt how everyone misunderstands him in the house. Bhatt in turn offered him some advice saying that he should change his negative attitude for his own good. Of course, when such great opportunity for drama presents itself, our man Gautam never lets it go. True to character, Gulati lost it and told Praneet “aap mujhe unhappy mat karo!”
Aap bhi humein unhappy mat karo na, Gautam!
Like I told you yesterday, Puneet was the second contestant to go through the phone booth task. When the person on the phone asked him who he trusts the most in the house, Puneet said Praneet. Aww. That’s sweet. Except, he cried at the thought of putting Praneet through this task. Uh, what? One, it really wasn’t a very tough task and two, tears? Really?
Minissha Lamba got down and dirty as she dug out a card from the trash to get Puneet out of the booth. Puneet had put her up to this task when the person on the phone had asked him who his least favourite girl in the house. Seeing Minissha do this for him so selflessly, an overwhelmed Puneet thanked Minissha profusely. Let’s just say many tears were involved. Yawn.
Sushant Divgikar was Puneet’s successor in the task and he failed miserably as he couldn’t get Upen Patel to shave his head nor could he get Praneet or Pritam to nominate themselves. When Upen refused straight up and apologized for not shaving his head, Sushant had to convince any male member to shave his head.
That’s when Gautam went “Jo best friend hai wo kare,” taunting Upen. Since Soni’s eviction, Upen has been more visible in the house and the taunt did not go down well with him at all. He confronted Gautam and that led into a big showdown. I am loving Upen’s brand new avatar. Like, FINALLY! Are you?
Meanwhile, Arya said what everyone was thinking: “Tu kyun hamesha kuch na kuch karke footage apni taraf le aata hai?” Rightly said, Arya.
