This action director, a man behind quite a few action sequences in Hollywood blockbusters, had his first stint with Bollywood when this recently released multi-crore came calling. Even though the film has now ended its run in India, he has fond memories about working on the film, and especially his collaboration with his leading man. So much so that now he wants to direct a movie with him.
We are talking about Andy Armstrong, who called the shots for Bang Bang when it came to choreographing the action sequences with Hrithik Roshan.
When asked about his further plans in Bollywood, Andy laughed saying,
We never know where the next challenge is. I have some particular pet productions I would like to see made, but will not say much about them until they are done. I would like to direct a movie with Hrithik in it, as I think now that I know what he is capable of, I would love to build a particular movie around that ability.
He is happy that in Hrithik, he managed to see a star performer who was on the top of his game, whether it was action or song-dance sequences.
I watched the movie with a Hollywood audience and was really pleased with the response. People really enjoyed the movie. I really enjoyed the movie ESPECIALLY the dance numbers! During production I was always somewhere else when Sid (Siddharth Anand) was shooting the dance numbers, so the first time I saw them was when I watched the finished movie. I absolutely loved them! I had no idea that Hrithik was such an incredible dancer! Both he and Katrina were fantastic!
Then how about a full-fledged Hollywood movie with them? Won’t be a bad idea after all! What do you think?
