I have a new mantra for all those people (i.e. ME!) who constantly battle bad hair days and the city’s humidity. It’s simple – Make the headscarf your new best friend. It adds the right amount of boho to any outfit and is versatile enough to go from casual to formal depending on the outfit. And let’s not forget the best part – there are so many ways to wear one! So when Team MissMalini took a trip to Sula Vineyards in Nashik, I took my headscarf out for a spin.

The scarf works well when you’ve got a side braid on like I did, but a bun or just your hair left open could work great too!

Things to remember:

1. Try to use a printed scarf when your clothes are a solid colour.

2. Don’t hold back on the colours.

3. A headscarf makes for a statement accessory in itself. Try not to add any other statements or it might clutter your look.
