Shahid Kapoor is riding high on the success of Vishal Bhardwaj‘s Haider. The critical success and reviews of the film have been heartening and Shahid is currently going through a very good career phase. However, one person who seems to be bearing the brunt of Shahid’s success is Vikas Bahl, who is currently working with him on Shaandar. There is chatter that the actor is spending a lot of time discussing Haider on the sets of Shaandar. If you remember, he even left the sets of his new film to go pick up an award for Haider, but apparently made up for it by working extra hard once back.
In fact, at one point, the director had to intervene and ask Shahid to stop talking about his last film and get in character for Shaandar, which is nothing like Haider. It seems his co-star Alia Bhatt too has been on the receiving end of Shahid’s Haider obsession and has told her friends how much Shahid has been raving about the film to her non stop.
I’ve heard that there was even an incident when someone on sets called him Haider and Vikas got upset and asked the person to stop referring to him in character and address him as Shahid!
