From what I’ve been hearing, Kangana Ranaut is not too happy with the makers of Ungli. It seems that the actress has sort of already hinted to the producers that Neha Dhupia, the other heroine of the film, should promote it instead as she wasn’t too happy with the first promo. It’s also possible that, given the fact that they promoted Shraddha Kapoor‘s item song so lavishly, Kangana feels that she might be given the raw deal when the movie is being marketed. If you think about it, we haven’t really seen much of her yet when it comes to the film’s publicity material.
However, since the film is being produced by none other than Karan Johar, Kangana seems to be playing it safe – instead of being dramatic about it, she’s simply saying that she might be out of the country on the dates that the production house is asking her to block. Her reason is that she wants to get serious about film making and wants to do another short term course which might fall close to the release date of Ungli. Now we will have to wait and see which one among them will win out in the end eventually!
