Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan is undoubtedly one of the finest actors of Bollywood. He even started his journey in B-town with a bang! That bang was Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (the best Bollywood adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, hands down). But there were also blips in the middle of his fantastic career and the Internet is the place where such blips will always exist. So check out this list of 5 cringe-worthy songs of Mr. Perfectionist that I’m sure he doesn’t want to remember. We don’t blame him, really!

1) Gulai Gulai Go

Those were dark, dark days. Real dark.

2) Maine Daba Li Thi

Tum Mere Ho was this underrated gem which the brilliant guys from Pretentious Movie Reviews unearthed. In the same way, this wonderful song very aptly titled Maine Daba Li Thi has been rediscovered by yours truly for your viewing pleasure.

3) We Are In Love

I love this song! So catchy, so ‘hep‘, so fresh, so youthful, it’s just so much yaar. Also, why don’t people use the word hep anymore? I loved that word.

4) Yeh Hai Cricket

Move over Aamir, let Aditya Pancholi show you what real cricket is. I nominate this song to be our cricket World Cup’s theme song as our boys in blue play for the cup in New Zealand next year! Nothing can inspire them more, not even Anushka Sharma‘s presence.

5) Khade Raho Baith Jao

When bae gives your orders. So romantic. If I could draw a heart, I would. On a side note, do you think popular photographers use this song to instruct their models? I think they secretly do.

Bonus Song! Actually, he doesn’t feature in this song but I HAD to add this one!

Gunda Rap (not to be mistaken with Love Rap)

The movie name is Aatank Hi Aatank and Aamir starred in it along with the thalaivar Rajinikanth! Guess Aamir isn’t the only one who wants to forget this one eh?
