Like I said this morning, today marked a historical event in Bollywood. The reunion of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan has reaffirmed our faith in happy endings. What Aamir Khan and several other B-town bigwigs couldn’t do, Salman’s sister, Arpita Khan, managed to do in a jiffy by bringing the warring Khans together like never before!
When SRK visited Salman’s residence for Arpita’s Mehendi ceremony, it left everyone flabbergasted. Though he had asserted that he’d be making his presence felt at the Khan girl’s special day, many had doubted whether that would actually happen. Naturally, Salman and his family members were rather overwhelmed when King Khan made it to their home. What’s more, the friends-turned-foes-turned-friends, Shah Rukh and Salman were even seen bonding like good old times after MANY years.
Not just that, SRK stayed there till six in the morning and chatted away with Salman, Arpita, Salim Khan and everyone present there. Arpita even walked outside their house with both the Khans in tow and posed for the shutterbugs. After that, Salman and SRK were seen sharing a very long and warm hug. In fact, both of them got quite emotional in each other’s presence after so long.
And guess what Shah Rukh gifted Arpita on this special occasion – An opulent gift hamper that consisted of several stylish handbags. Apparently, Arpita has a penchant for handbags and that’s why SRK decided to give her a bunch of those from various high-end brands. Needless to say, Arpita was more than happy to have so many new bags in her collection and more importantly, she was touched by SRK’s super sweet gesture.
