So Arya Babbar is the 7th contestant to get the axe on Bigg Boss 8. After the first 6 eliminated contestants were women, last week Sushat Divgikar marked the eviction of the first male contestant from the house. Arya followed suit this week.

Is it just me or was Arya the most entertaining once he was out of the house? And when I interviewed him last night, he totally proved that he IS entertaining – once he’s not on the show!

Team MissMalini (Team MM): How does it feel Arya? How’s the air outside the Bigg Boss house?

Arya Babbar (AB): It’s fantastic! The air is fresh, beautiful. I’m with family and friends, I’m driving my own car again, my room… it feels great!

Team MM: So you’re over Bigg Boss already? Would you like to go back if given a chance?

AB: I haven’t thought about that at all actually. I’m enjoying way too much outside to think about that for now.

Team MM: Okay. So on the eviction night you spoke about your book My Fiance, Me and #IF**ckedUp and how your sole purpose of coming on the show was to give the book a platform. However, not once have you spoken about the book in the house!

AB: I did actually. All the time. But obviously, those bits didn’t make it to the last edits of the show, which is fair because why would they promote a book? So I am an author and I showed my audience my real self for 8 weeks, that’s promotion enough for now. Also, Salman Khan was the first person to have said the name of my book on national TV. What can be better than that?

Team MM: Fair enough. So who f**ked up, Arya? Is the story autobiographical?

AB: (Laughs) Maybe, maybe not. It could be my story, it could be a friend’s! Seriously, this could be ANYONE’s story. It’s the story of our generation and I know it’ll resonate because who hasn’t f**ked up in life? I have, you have! The book talks about our generation’s approach to love and relationships and even marriage. Should we get married at all or is it something society tells us to do? No more details for now. Stay tuned!

Team MM: I’m really looking forward to the book. And you’ve decided to get married now? What’s up with that? And is there someone we should know about?

AB: Yes! I’m ready. It’s when you’re all by yourself without your loved ones is when you realize how important relationships are. And as for someone, I haven’t met you yet so I don’t know (laughs).

Team MM: Of course! Now back to the house, you started out as a really strong contender but the last few weeks, you were barely visible. What happened? Did that cause your eviction?

AB: This week I was ready to go. When I was nominated twice before, the ass that I am, I didn’t even pack my bags because I knew I wouldn’t go. Since the incident that happened with Puneet Issar, everyone agreed it was violence and he was shown the door. However, he was brought back, put in a jail for a while and then let out of there too. I felt really betrayed. So yeah… I think I lost interest somehow. I have returned home when I wanted to.

Team MM: Favourite and least favourite contestant?

AB: Favourite is obvioulsy Upen…

Team MM: You can’t put Upen in the list…

AB: (laughs): Okay… so I think Ali (Mirza). He does whatever the f**k he wants and when caught, he has the confidence to not be apologetic or anything! He is too much fun. Least favourite? Unsurprisingly, Puneetji.

Team MM: A lot was said about the Minissha Lamba episode. Who said what and who was right? Any comment about that?

AB: What I said wasn’t a lie. But I keep her respect and I’m choosing to let it go.

Team MM: Alright. Now the most important question! You said the two things you’d miss the most in the house are pizza and sex. Now that you’re out of the house, which one did you have first?

AB: (laughs) Wow! Trust Team MissMalini to come up with the best questions. Uhh… I don’t know what to say. Okay. I had my first pizza today, but I’ve been back home since Saturday. Let’s just say I am a content man right now!
