Good days in Bollywood are finally here where at least one young couple isn’t going out of its way to hide. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have been rumoured to be dating for a while now, and though neither have come out in the open to actually say it, they haven’t denied their relationship either. Recently I told you how Anushka made a very bold and fabulous statement about her relationship with cricketer boyfriend Virat in the media. She said:
I feel the minute we start talking about our private lives, all focus just shifts there. Then I’ll also have to answer questions like Valentine’s Day pe kya karne wale hain? Apne birthday pe kya gift diya? I can’t do that. Like I said, it’s all in the open. Whether I go for a dinner or to watch a match, everybody can see it. But if people still need a verbal confirmation, I am not giving it. But really, how louder can I get?
I totally applauded Anishka then… and now, Virat has made an applause-worthy statement about the same issue too and has only echoed Anuska’s view. Aww.
At a press event where Virat launched his brand new clothing line, he said:
Whatever is there is out in the open, I have nothing to hide. I am not doing anything wrong. If people were to use simple logic, they wouldn’t be asking this question about two people seen together so often. It’s common sense. It can get a bit irritating if you are asked the same question again and again. It’s a personal matter and not a topic of debate.
I am absolutely loving how in sync these two are. Can the other Bollywood couples take a leaf out of their book too? Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, I’m looking at you!
