Kill Dil couldn’t quite recover after a below average weekend at the box office. The only hope for the Shaad Ali directed flick to stay afloat was to have a minimal drop over the weekdays. However, with Monday registering a 50% drop from Friday, it was pretty much a given that the film wasn’t going to benefit from any sort of word of mouth.

The film saw further drops throughout the week, and since the weekend was on the lower side too, the eventual collections accumulated to just around 29 crore. Now these were the bare minimum collections expected on the weekend itself – but that’s what the film made in the entire week!

Since Happy Ending is releasing this week, one doesn’t see this Yash Raj film holding well in its second week. As a result, the film’s collections would be 35 crore at maximum, which is pretty low for a Ranveer Singh starrer commercial entertainer.
