All week, I have anxiously waited for Friday to come and finally, it’s here (happy dance!). For some of us the weekend might be the hardest part of the week because not knowing what to wear is a BIG deal. I have a whole lot of plans lined up, right from the Afrojack concert tonight to my best friend’s bachelorette party. All you happy music lovers, don’t worry I haven’t forgotten you. The Nh7 Weekender is back for the 4th time this year and it only gets better. Weekends are meant for jazzing up and here’s what you can wear.
P.S. If you need some downtime and only want to chill and maybe catch a movie, I’ve got you covered too.
Yes ladies, dutch Dj Afrohack is in town today and you don’t always have to run to forever 21 or ZARA to find something swanky. Take inspiration from one of the most influential teenagers of 2014, Kylie Jenner. Pair your ripped boyfriend shorts with a boxy crop top and gladiator thongs for a grungy appeal. It’s all about working your blacks. Accessories are a must – lots of beads and Lennon sunnies will work great!
PS: If you don’t have something like this in your closet, just make your own – DIY baby. See how you can, here.
For some of us music festivals are the thang! It’s the only time of the year when I channel the inner hippie inside me. The happiest music festival (Nh7 Weekender) is in Pune this weekend; Raise your hands if you are headed there! A musical getaway! Life is good, right? Wondering what to wear? Try these…
Quick Style Fixes:
1. Fringed everything works great! Boots, bag and top! Don’t go OTT, please!
2. If I were you, I’d dress in cut-out lace just like Selena Gomez – you don’t have to go all out, a cut out tee will work well too.
3. Graphic tees and reflectors work great for music festivals.
4. Use your earrings like a “Maang Tika” on the head. Hats are great too!
Movies are a great place to experiment with comfortable clothing and you’ve got to agree with me when I say, it’s so damn cold in there! Opt for denims to do an easy weekend style and add on a sweatshirt/bomber jacket for a super trendy appeal. Totally do a Deepika Padukone casual chic ensemble, minus the boots of course.
Wedding season is back and who isn’t excited? Lots of boozy nights coming your way (winks)! It’s my best friend’s bachelorette this weekend and choosing the best party outfit for a girl’s night out is the hardest decision I have had to make. So here’s where I got my inspiration from. I opted for a rise and fall sheer black dress with a statement necklace and chunky peep-toe heels. Also since the party is more like a 5 star hotel club night thing, this outfit works perfect! Don’t you just love Alia Bhatt‘s look?
I hope by now you are a little more confident about what to wear this weekend. If you have any question regarding outfit or how to style your weekend looks, write to us in the comments section below and I’ll be glad to answer them all.
Hope you have a great weekend!
