– Sonakshi Sinha revealed in a recent interview that she’s not very attached to acting as a profession since she wasn’t one of those people who wanted to get into the industry since she was a child. She claims that if she finds something better tomorrow, she’ll probably leave acting as well! As of now, though, the actress is hanging out at home before she begins back-to-back promotions for films. And like we told you earlier, she’s taking a break from working with her favourite director, Prabhudheva, something they both agreed on.
– Deepika Padukone recently spoke up about being objectified by a leading daily, which had done a feature on her “cleavage show.” Her open letter caused quite a stir, and now the actress also admitted at a recent even that men in the industry are objectified too. She said, “Men are also objectified but we choose not to talk about it.”
– Recently, Rekha was in Srinagar to shoot for Fitoor, and was immediately given major security protection. She shot for most of the day at the Nishat Garden in a bridal get-up, and is now all set to leave the valley. However, the crew will stay back.
– Cricketer Sreesanth, who was caught in a spot-fixing controversy earlier, and is now looking forward to a Bollywood debut. According to reports, he will have a significant role in Cabaret, a Pooja Bhatt production. Sreesanth plays the mentor to a dancer (Richa Chadda) and has apparently accepted 5 lakhs as his signing amount.
– Karan Johar, who hasn’t directed a movie for a while now, recently revealed that he’s going to be directing one next year for sure! Guess we’ll have to wait and see what it’s about.
– Priyanka Chopra has always been very close to her family, especially when it comes to her cousins entering the film industry. PC’s cousin, Barbie Handa – now known as Mannara – will be debuting with the film Zid, and the superstar recently took to Twitter to praise her. She tweeted saying, “So proud of you baby! You look so beautiful!”
– Jacqueline Fernandez has been signed on as the lead heroine in Rohit Dhawan‘s next film, which is as of yet untitled. She will join Varun Dhawan and John Abraham in this film, and will begin shooting in April of 2015.
