Today’s Twitter outrage topic seems to be the forced vegetarianism of many food chains and coffee shops in certain districts of Mumbai, and if these reports are true, I really think dark days are ahead for us. (Not to mention, Masterchef India has also turned all-vegetarian for some weird reason.) Before anybody jumps the gun and bays for my blood, here’s my point: I love my veggies and honestly chicken is the only meat that makes my mouth water. The other meats available don’t really do much to my appetite so I try to stay away from them. But that’s my CHOICE, not something forced on me because of religion or because the neighbourhood I stay in is dominated by people who have embraced vegetarianism and think I should too. My point is, let people eat they want – don’t force your beliefs on them, especially not on the kind of food restaurants serve! On a lighter note, here’s a list of 10 things one should do rather than turn vegetarian because of societal pressure (if you’re a vegetarian by choice, more power to you).
Because the entire population of the city has something to do with Dadar!
Ron Weasley‘s nightmare is one of the reasons we all loved him so much, he’s so relatable.
“In the Game Of Thrones you either win or die.”
Ew. Ew. Ew.
Maybe that’s what the society will force us to have after this!
Puneet is my favourite shorty!
At least they got to eat meat.
Who wouldn’t want to marry him, right?
Again, take this lightly guys. The only thing I want is freedom to eat whatever I want, wherever I want! Those who agree say aye! Those who don’t… well, you’re on the winning side anyway.
