It’s December, which means it’s officially Christmastime! That’s why The Other People‘s new track, Christmas Is Here, is perfect for this season. In fact, I got a chance to witness the launch of their album recently, which was super cool as India really needs a bigger Indie music scene. While I’m not usually much of a fan of Indie pop, the band’s performance left me mesmerized.
The members of the band have performed professionally for over ten years, and since they’re a pop/rock band, they have played various popular covers and originals at clubs, concerts and private events. The six-member band’s performances are full of energy, excitement and vibrancy.
The Other People started off the event with a beautiful track called Take My Hand, followed by Hold On, and then they saved the best for the last – Christmas Is Here. The latter is a zesty, feel good number that is just perfect to usher in the Christmas season this year. The lyrics spread the spirit of love, showing the immense thought and emotion that has gone in making of the song.
The band has many feathers in its hat, including the honour of opening for the India tours of International artists and bands like Saving Abel, Michael Learns To Rock, DJ Edward Maya, DJ Diamond, Lacuna Coil, Jay Sean, and Bedouin Sound Clash.
