Bollywood is suddenly so happy, you guys. Not only did Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan patch-up – for real this time – but they also dialed in Aamir Khan for a virtual reunion. None of us got to see that unfold, but at the Aap Ki Adalat 21st anniversary celebrations, we finally got to see all the Khans on one stage at the same time. This is a glorious time for Bollywood fangirls (and boys) everywhere, so here are 5 reasons we’re particularly pleased with this reunion:
1. It makes us believe in happy endings
Bollywood didn’t lie, guys. “Happys endings” are a thing and they happen in real life too.
2. It gives us hope
If Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan can make it, anyone can make it! Extend the olive branch to the people in your life you’re not speaking to – things can totally work out.
3. We may get a movie
We all resigned ourselves to never getting a film with all the Khans because they were just never going to get along, but now it’s a possibility. It would still be a major casting coup, but it’s no longer impossible. It will be like The Avengers for our Khan superheroes. <3
4. ‘3 Idiots’ part 2 could actually star the 3 Khans
Also, Dil Chahta Hai. Oh God. Too many hopes and dreams now.
5. Can you imagine the bromance stories?
They Facetimed each other. They did the towel dance. Now there’s news that Aamir is hosting a special screening of PK for Shah Rukh and Salman. Can you imagine what else might happen?! I. Just. Can’t. Even.
You know the chick from Mean Girls who had a lot of feelings and just wanted to bake everyone cakes with rainbows and smiles? I feel like that girl. And I feel like my dream just came true. #HappyFangirl
