Sonakshi Sinha at Arpita Khan's reception

The busy bee is back. For someone who is usually seen in three to four films at an average every year, Sonakshi Sinha has been relatively quiet right through 2014 with just one biggie, Holiday, hitting the screens. Well, not anymore as the ‘dabangg‘ girl is now returning with vengeance, what with three films (Action Jackson, Lingaa, Tevar – incidentally all with Eros) in a matter of five weeks. Happy though with all the work that is keeping her busy, she is currently juggling between the promotion of her three films.

Her Action Jackson is currently running in theaters and she is happy that her comic act has resulted in some laughs, especially in the first half of the film.

Sonakshi says:

“Prabhu sir wanted someone who had a good comic timing. He said that this role was going to be good for me. Now that you have seen the film, you can see that I am a complete comedian in there. I had a blast doing it and I must admit that it is not easy to do comedy; it is one of the most difficult things to be perfected for camera. The whole timing and connectivity with the audience has to be perfectly right. Also, there is a thin line between being comical and being stupid. I guess I have got the right balance here after learning for over the years. Moreover, Prabhu sir’s guidance was always there as well.”

Meanwhile, Sonakshi seems to have had a blast while dancing to the tunes of Keeda, Mast Punjabi and Chichora Piya.

“Yes, I am happy to be seen in a song and dance set up here which reminds audience of Govinda-Raveena Tandon-Karisma Kapoor ‘latka jhatka’. These are the actors who have done well in whatever they have attempted for camera. In fact this is the reason why they are remembered till today. I guess I am going in the right direction,” she smiles before signing off.
