Wonder what ten magazine covers in a matter of a few weeks do to you? Well, other than bag a much larger fan following, it also helps you gain some appreciation from folks at home who have made a name for themselves in the world of glamour.
This is what Shraddha Kapoor is proud of, after her maasi Padmini Kolhapure gave a pat on her back for featuring on the cover of as many as 10 A-list and luxury magazines, hence proving the adage of Dus Ka Dum true all over again.
“Padmini aunty is keeping a close tab on all the work that Shraddha is doing. While she shared good feedback on her sensitive performance in Haider, she was amazed at the remarkable turnaround that Shraddha brought to her wardrobe in a number of magazine shoots that she has done of late,” informs a friend of the actress, who would next be seen in ABCD-2.
What has been particular remarkable is the fact that after sizzling the floor with Dance Basanti (Ungli), Shraddha has been igniting quite a few covers with some sexy and bold moves, looking pretty and fresh in equal measures.
A family friend adds, “Hamaare zamaane mein itni opportunities hoti hi kahan thi. Even after superhits like Prem Rog, Zamaane Ko Dikhanaa Hai, Pyaar Jhukta Nahin, Souten and Woh Saat Din there was limited visibility that Padmini got since the avenues were much lesser. Of course her talent spoke the loudest but being in the glam industry, it is all the more important to be seen and heard. Padmini had to rely entirely on that but now she is living her dream through Shraddha and is glad that her niece is so successful.”
No wonder, the veteran actress has been constantly sharing notes with Shraddha while complimenting her for carrying different kind of looks so very well and looking equally stunning in different avtar each time around.
