I’d be lying if I said that I came up with Badi Bumbaat on my own. Of course, there’s the song from The Dirty Picture that calls Vidya Balan Badi Bumbaat for always being her badass self, but that’s not my story.
It was very many years (or so it seems) when I was in my last year of undergrad in Delhi University, that I was surrounded by the best juniors in the world. When it came to giving out titles to us seniors at the farewell party, my adorable juniors gave me badge that read Badi Bumbaat!
So when CEO Nowshad asked me what I wanted my business card to read, the choice was simple. It NEEDED to read the following:
Brace yourselves! Because Badi Bumbaat is all set to take over your lives in all her audio visual glory. I’ve been giving you all Bigg Boss updates and all your other favourite shows and stars, and now I’ll be giving you a weekly update about all that you may have missed. Of course, the Bollywood Buff in me won’t stay too far and will give you your much deserved dose of BTown; all in true Badi Bumbaat style.
Now now, this is my video debut and as Monica Gellar rightly pointed out in F.R.I.E.N.D.S (and I have never agreed with her more!), but the camera DOES add 10 pounds and it’s not like I didn’t have some home pounds of my own. But I digress.
