Quite a few television hotties have recently found their big ticket to Bollywood and Gurmeet Choudhary is one of them. The Geet Hui Sabse Parayi actor is currently gearing up for his debut film, Khamoshiyan. And since he’s being launched by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt‘s production house, Vishesh Films, in a horror flick, we can’t help but wonder if he’s going to continue doing only dark movies (with loads of lovemaking scenes). After all, that’s what most Bhatt prodigies like John Abraham, Bipasha Basu, Mallika Sherawat and Emraan Hashmi were seen in during their initial days in Bollywood.
So is he going to be the next Emraan Hashmi (the new torch-bearer of the Bhatt camp)? That’s what Gurmeet was asked during one of his recent interviews with a tabloid. And this is what he said:
“Why not? Mukeshji (Bhatt) says I’m very professional, hardworking and dil ka achcha. I’m the surprise package of the film and he has assured me that people will remember my performance long after they’ve left the theatre. He insists I’m their next star”
Talking about his image makeover from a guy-next-door to a sexy stud, here’s what he shared:
“You will see a lot of my body in Khamoshiyan. Men see me as a macho action hero and girls as a Prince Charming. Sabko kush karna hai.”
