Shah Rukh Khan is pretty much playing a role of his lifetime. In his next film Fan, he is said to be playing a commoner who is a fan of superstar Shah Rukh Khan. A case of fact meeting fiction, real life meeting reel life and lines between reality and surreal getting blurred, Fan is an apt milestone in the career of Baadshah Khan who has been active in the world of films for 25 years.
Still, even though the superstar tries to live as normal a life as possible when at home, it isn’t really possible for either him or his family when they are out in public. He does admit that it is tough for the Khan family to live a normal life while constantly being under observation.
Shah Rukh Khan says:
You know how it is. I have security guards with me all the time. It is sometimes embarrassing to go like this to a friend’s place when first a gypsy comes, then my car behind it and then two other guys accompany me as well. Ab kya karein, it needs to be like that.
A people person, SRK isn’t shying away from mingling with the millions of folks love adore him to death.
No, I am not scared of people; in fact I love them. But then sometimes it becomes difficult to handle a crowd. When that happens, it is a little uncalled for to get my kids exposed to such a scenario as well. As parents, we want them to lead as normal a life as possible.
Now that’s something any doting parent would agree with, isn’t it?
