As you know by now, Farah Khan is going to be replacing Salman Khan in Bigg Boss 8 starting January. But that’s not the only change that you should be gearing up for. The show had to struggle for TRPs in the beginning and its only recently that the show’s ratings have picked up. The makers of the show, have hence decided to cash in on their recently great numbers and are giving the show an extension. I’m just wondering about the amount of money the contestants would’ve been paid to stay in that dreaded house! I already told you about the contract details of the housemates, so the extension surely means way more moolah than any of them imagined.
So an extension also means new elements in the house – the house has a fabulous line up of wild card entries for the show in the first week of January. Buzz is that some super ex Bigg Boss contestants will be joining the current ones in the house. The line up has surely got me excited. Interestingly, all but one of them have made it to our previous drama queen and annoying children lists. What can I say? I foresee these things evidently. Check it out!
Rahul Mahajan
Rahul Mahajan got infamous in Season 2 for the epic love triangle between him, Payal Rohatgi and Monica Bedi. Such was his charm that post his Bigg Boss stint he got married to Dimpy Ganguly on national TV (the only swayamvar that resulted in marriage, by the way!). It’d be interesting to see him back, especially since his ex wife is in the house and the last time he went in there for the Bigg Boss party, she teared up and said she was really glad to see him. Is there a possibility of rekindling that romance, you think?
Sambhavna Seth
The Bhojpuri item girl, Sambhavna Seth, used the choicest of abuses sandwiched between all her sentences. Season 2 was almost like a screaming match between her and the rest of the contestants. She’s already been to the house these season as she was part of Gautam Gulati’s guest list for the BB party. She can also be held responsible for Gautam’s cold feet towards taking his relationship with Diandra Soares to the next level, as it was Shambhavna who told Gautam that his image is being affected in the outside world. Man, Sambhavna is one volcano that’s just waiting to explode in the house.
Dolly Bindra
Speaking of volcanoes, Dolly Bindra is going to be in the house, guys! *shudders*. She actually set a benchmark for psycho in season 4, as whoever behaved borderline psycho post season 4, was renamed ‘The Dolly Bindra’ of that season. Now that’s some serious legacy.
Imam Siddiqui
Showing up in nude body suits, scaring contestants, calling himself a haivaan and even having a showdown with Salman Khan – Imam Siddiqui has done it all! And he is all set to make a comeback to the house!
Ajaz Khan
Remember him? The creep who used to follow Gauahar Khan around in season 7? The same creep who gave the most cringe-worthy response to Gauahar’s slapgate! Well, he’s going to be back too. Ugh.
Mahek Chahal
And now for the most normal contestant out of this lot – Mahek Chahal. Her infamous spat with Akashdeep Saigal and her now on and off friendship with Siddharth Bhardwaj made headlines during season 5. But I think what we truly remember her for, is the trend she started of waking up and dancing to the morning alarm music while in the house!
