Released alongside Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan‘s PK, the trailer of Farhan Akhtar‘s upcoming release, Wazir has been receiving praises from all quarters. But what’s surprising is that the Mumbai police is also mighty impressed with the actor, who essays the charactor of an ATS cop in the flick. Sporting a completely new look, Farhan has managed to win the appreciation of many.
Recently, a special screening of PK had been organized for the Mumbai police officers. While they came out appreciating the film, they were also overheard raving about the Wazir trailer and Farhan’s performance in it. It seems they were quite happy to see him play one of them in the flick with Amitabh Bachchan.
Farhan had earlier approached and met a few top officials from the police department to understand the nature of their job. He had also closely observed them to pick up their manner of speaking and body language. Apparently, he had spent quite a lot of time with the Mumbai police to get into the skin of his character. And now, with endless praises coming his way from their end, Farhan has clearly achieved what he had set out to do.
It will be interesting to see the Mumbai police’s response after they watch Wazir. From the looks of it, the flick seems rather intriguing. What do you think, guys?
