With a brand new year ahead, Bollywood fans have a lot to look forward to! 2015 will see some unexpected pairings that will surely leave you surprised and eagerly awaiting. Here are the top 5 unconventional pairings in Bollywood you will be seeing onscreen soon:
1. Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan
Shoojit Sircar’s Piku will have the stunning Deepika Padukone opposite the versatile Irrfan Khan. Seen together for the first time ever, these two talented actors are bound to create a remarkable film. The two apparently share an unusually comfortable chemistry onscreen that has even left Shoojit mighty impressed! Although Deepika and Irrfan have previously acted in different genres of film, their collaboration has us very excited.
2. Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar
It’s Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming drama, and I’m sure it will be promising. Wazir will bring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar together, two of the finest performers in the industry. It isn’t your typical mainstream movie per se, but I’m pretty sure it will grab the attention of the audience!
3. Rekha and Katrina Kaif
Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are, as it is, an unexpected jodi who will be starring in Abhishek Kapoor’s Fitoor. But Kat will also be seen sharing screen space with the evergreen Rekha! The movie is reportedly an adaptation of Great Expectations, and Rekha will be seen in the role of a Begum and Katrina Kaif’s aunt.
4. Sunny Leone and Vir Das
Now this one I never saw coming. What’s going to happen when the smoking Sunny Leone meets Vir Das? Mastizaade, of course! The film is an adult comedy and the duo’s chemistry will definitely add spice to the storyline. Tusshar Kapoor is also a part of the project, so this film will be one to look out for its intriguing casting.
5. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Chitrangada
Babumoshai Bandookbaz is unconventional not just for its creative title, but also for the lead pairing of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Chitrangada! To add to the eccentric star cast, Chitrangada will seen playing the role of a cobbler in the movie having some grey shades as well.
