2014 was definitely a year of fashion extremes for our B town beauties. From going normcore with airport dressing to looking uber-glam on the red carpet, we saw bits of everything. Now that we have entered the New Year officially, it’s high time we learn from some of the sartorial misadventures our Bollywood celebrities had and avoid some of these passé fashion trends.

1. Goldy Locks

Gone are the days of stark bleach blonde streaks. In case you haven’t realized, it’s all about those face framing highlights that look flattering and absolutely natural.

2. Sunglasses at night

Well I agree, sunglasses make celebs look attractive and stylish for a whole variety of reasons, but wearing sunglasses at night is so not cool anymore – unless you want to jump onto the Bappi Lahiri, Mika Singh bandwagon.

3. Bandage dresses

The bandage dress seems to be every B town beauty’s favourite, but these have been done to death. This trend started in 2007 but ladies, it’s 2015 and time to get rid of those dresses ASAP!

4. Sheer Shame

If you’ve got it, flaunt it. The sheer dresses and tops were quite the trend three years ago but let’s face it, these see through styles leave nothing to imagination and are no longer appealing.

5. Platform heels

These need to leave your closet because they just don’t make your feet look good! They tend to make you look large and chunky and today, it’s all about the sleek stilettos baby.

So do you have anything you need to throw away?
