We’re back for another session with Doctor Closet and this one’s a cold one. The event was Dabboo Ratnani‘s 2015 calendar launch that happened recently. (For those of you who missed it, click here to see what went down!) With a star studded guest-list of power names, the Doctor couldn’t help but notice the abundance of winter style at the event.
Mumbai winters are pleasant, unlike the brutal chills our friends in Delhi have to deal with. So, Doctor figured the celebs just used the “cold” to put up a winter-wear show for the fashion police.
1. Priyanka Chopra
Now Priyanka Chopra, usually gets it right…usually. But this look seemed a little too thought out, according to the Doctor. He hinted towards all the statement pieces in her look, from the hair to the make-up, the cape, the accessories and those shoes. She seemed to have too much on, but the thing with Ms Chopra is, she is too cool to care. And that’s kinda awesome!
2. Shraddha Kapoor
Leather seemed to be a favourite choice of fabric for the evening. And Shraddha Kapoor embraced it a little more than the others did! The Doctor sure sees Shraddha as that cool hipster actress, but he just cannot come to a decision about those shoes. What do you think?
3. Marc Robinson
As a top model in his time and one of the best fashion show directors in the country, Marc Robinson knows how to make flashy outfits work. But this time, the Doctor seems to think the flash worked against him!
4. Sangeeta Bijlani
The Doc believes that Sangeeta Bijlani has her style diva days. But this time, she seemed to follow rules too closely. Could it be that she picked the leather jacket and boots because it’s winter time and the glitter dress because it’s a party? But the poor girl didn’t realize that they seemed to be clashing with each other, and in a rather evident manner, that too. The Doc can only speculate.
5. Tanishaa Mukherji
See, what did the Doc tell you! Leather was a favourite at the party. Even Tanishaa Mukherji showed up in a pair of leather pants and attempted to match black, gun metal grey and silver tones with a vengeance.
