It’s a known fact that discrimination in today’s day and age is a huge deal. It has led to wars, riots and deadly terrorism, the root cause of it all being intolerance!

So, an American Sikh, born to Indian parents, Vishavjit Singh, took to the streets of New York to see the response he would get dressed as Captain America. The documentary is called Red, White and Beard and was made after a grant from Sikhlens, an NGO that promotes Sikh culture. According to the makers, the video worked better than they thought it would. Singh also happens to be a cartoonist and runs his company by the name of Sikhtoons (do check it out!).

Singh has traveled from L.A. to Kansas in this outfit. He received his inspiration after a mass shooting that happened at a Gurudwara in Wisconsin. We’re SO glad to see such an initiative and love the response that the Americans have given to Singh in this video. #FaithInHumanityRestored

We love it. What are your thoughts on this documentary? Tell us in the comments below!
