Food, clothing and shelter were what we defined as “basic needs of life.” But now, it’s justified to say that a Smartphone is the new member on that list. And what’s a Smartphone without any apps? So I did a little scouting around on my campus and here are the top 10 apps that were found the most on people’s phones!
It’s now a universal truth that all (or most) of those who own a smartphone use Whatsapp and Facebook the most. Let’s take a look at what’s beyond these two.
“This one app let’s you see people from so many different parts of the world… you get to learn. To see such passion in things that you, in daily life, would so easily ignore! Where’d you get all the honey from – beekeeping? The tea lovers posting pictures of every tea shop they go to… You just see life in a much more beautiful way!” Shefali Rishiraj.
For Mumbaikars whose life is governed by train schedules, this app is pure heaven sent!
“It’s a wonderful app which includes train, bus and monorail timings as well as ticket, taxi and auto fares” says Neha Nalawade.
3) Google Keep
6) Food Panda
“It definitely merits a download! So many deals and discounts! Just place an order and eat to your heart’s content! Simple and filling – totally worth the while for a foodie like me!” says Komal Tupe.
For a busy student, news on the go is a real boon! On a fast-paced day without time to pick up the daily, this app keeps you up to date and well informed!
8) Google Drive
“Life was never so convenient before the introduction of Google Drive which provides every individual a huge space to store their important stuff without any worries and makes it accessible anywhere and anytime” says Ameya Satvidkar.
